Scope and General Provisions

This policy applies to every page under the clashsupport.com domain, including all language directories, download pages, and technical notes. Clash Open Source Community ("this site") is a purely static documentation and download-navigation site that runs no business logic requiring user identity. This policy honestly explains what information is processed when you visit, why it's processed, and what information this site simply does not collect. Continuing to browse this site means you have read and accepted this policy.

Data We Collect

This site offers no registration, login, comments, email subscription, or any form submission feature, so it never actively collects names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other directly identifying information. Every page is built from static HTML; there is no server-side database and no user account data is stored.

Like any website, the server hosting this site generates standard access logs when responding to requests. These are limited to request time, request path, HTTP status code, browser user agent, and source IP address. Logs are used only to troubleshoot service issues and defend against malicious traffic, are rotated and cleared on a routine schedule, are never shared with any third party, and are never used to build a profile of any individual.

Analytics

To understand traffic distribution across pages and improve how documentation and download entry points are organized, this site runs a self-hosted, open-source analytics script. It records information such as: page URL, visit time, screen resolution, browser type, an approximate geographic region (IP inferred down to city level, with the raw IP truncated for anonymization), and aggregated interaction events like switching platform tabs on the download page.

Analytics data is stored on servers maintained by this site itself, is never routed through any commercial analytics platform, is never used for advertising, and is never sold or transferred to third parties. All metrics are aggregate figures; this site neither attempts nor is able to identify any specific individual from them. If your browser has Do Not Track enabled or a content-blocking extension prevents the analytics script from loading, every feature of the site remains fully functional.

Cookies and Local Storage

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Any storage entries that may appear in your browser are limited to the following two categories:

• An anonymous identifier cookie written by the analytics script to distinguish unique visitors, containing no personal information and expiring automatically;
• Session-level local storage used for certain page interactions (such as marking that a download-guide popup has already been shown for this visit), which clears when the tab is closed and is never shared across sites.

Clearing your browser's cookies and site data does not affect normal reading or downloading on any page of this site.

Third-Party Links and Downloads

The client installers listed on the download page come from each open-source project's own release channel, app store, or a reverse-proxy distribution node; pages also link out to external sites such as client official homepages and App Store listing pages. These external sites are operated independently and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service, which this policy does not extend to cover. Before following a link, check the domain in your address bar and consult the destination site's own privacy statement if needed. The behavior of any installed client is the responsibility of its respective open-source project and is unrelated to how this site handles data.

Policy Updates and Feedback

This policy may be updated as site features change (for example, adding a new analytics metric or removing a storage item). Updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and published here, without individual notification. Significant changes (such as introducing a new data-processing method) will be clearly flagged near the top of the page. Check back periodically for the latest version.

This site does not offer a public email address or ticketing channel.
